Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Kkomal Vasisht ("we", "us") collects through kkomalvasisht.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to provide our services.

What we collect
- Birth details you enter (date, time and place of birth) to generate charts and calculations. These are processed to produce your result. We do not store your raw birth details against your identity for our calculators — calculation logs keep only a one-way hashed fingerprint, never the raw values.
- Contact details you provide — such as name, phone, email or message — when you book a consultation, use a contact form, or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Location text you type into the place-of-birth field, which is sent to our address-lookup provider to find coordinates. See 'Third-party services' below.
- Technical data — such as a hashed form of your IP address, browser type and pages visited — used for security and to understand which tools are useful. We do not store your raw IP address.
How we use it
- To perform the calculation or service you asked for.
- To respond to enquiries and provide consultations you request.
- To send you updates only if you subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the site secure and improve which tools and content we offer.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not use your birth details for anything other than the calculation or reading you requested.
- We do not share your consultation details with third parties except as strictly needed to deliver the service (for example, a payment processor for a paid booking).
Third-party services
- Address lookup: when you type a birth place, that text is sent to our geocoding provider (LocationIQ) to return matching locations. Only the text you type is sent, through our server.
- Astronomical data: charts are computed on our own server using the Swiss Ephemeris. Your birth details are not sent to any outside astrology service.
- Payments (for paid services): when live, payments are handled by a secure third-party processor. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function securely (such as maintaining your session and protecting forms). We do not use advertising trackers without your consent.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by emailing kkomalvasisht@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
